Cape May Hotels

At the end of the day, when the fishing is done, your very likely to hear something that is said in many bars at closing time. "You don't have to go home, but you cant stay here"

Here's a few places you may want to try.

Summer Station Condo Hotel - We have stayed here a few times during the fall striper season. It's basically a condo set up, with a kitchen and living room, and 1 or 2 bedrooms. It's right across the street from the beach, and the rates reflect that fact.

Depot Travel Park - This is a camp ground where some friends keep their campers for the season. They have sites for RV's and tents. If you can handle camping, you can't beat the price in the Cape May area. Watch your speed in the Camp Ground, the speed limit is 5 MPH, and they mean it. A friend of mine is still in jail for going 10 MPH last year.

Jersey Cape Motel - Located on Rt 109. Phone 609-884-7382. This motel is located between the marina and the campground. Since it is not on the oceanfront, and a little away from the hustle and bustle it should be a little cheaper. The summer in season rates for 2006 start at $90 a night for a motel unit, and $100 a night for an efficiency unit.
